A chat site with a character you design, a memory that carries between sessions, and usually pictures, voice or video of that character. Underneath is a language model with instructions to stay in character.
Are any of them free?
Not in a usable way. Every site here caps messages or blurs pictures on the free tier. The Free and cheap page lists the cheapest real way into each.
Which sites send pictures?
Use the Sends pictures filter on the directory. ourdream, Candy AI, HeraHaven, Muah, Krush and Nomi all generate pictures of the character; ourdream and HeraHaven also do video.
Which sites are uncensored?
The Uncensored tag marks sites where explicit content is on by default. Others allow it once you switch it on in settings, usually on a paid plan.
Is my chat private?
Assume it is stored. Memory works by keeping your conversations. Read the privacy policy before paying, and use a card you can cancel.
How are the hearts decided?
Five hearts is the top band. Each site has six scores out of ten for chat, memory, pictures, voice, customisation and value; the hearts are the average, rounded. The full scores are on every profile.
